Runner's Reset - A program to get you ready for your next training block
As a runner and a physical therapist, I developed this 4-week, neuromotor training program to help runners build body awareness and control. This is NOT a strength-training program, but could pair well with one. Give yourself 4 weeks to reset before your next training block.
Train your body to move well
If you’re a runner who feels tight, uncoordinated, or that your stride just isn’t moving the way it should, you’re not alone. Most runners don’t struggle purely because of muscle weakness. They struggle because their body has lost motor control: the ability for the feet, hips, and core to coordinate smoothly and absorb force efficiently. Over time, mileage, fatigue, and repetitive training can cause the body to compensate instead of move well, which often shows up as recurring aches, stiffness, or injuries that never fully go away.
The Runner’s Reset is a 4-week neuromotor training program designed to address that missing piece. I do want to be clear though about what the Runner's Reset is NOT:
-It's not a strength program
-It’s not a running plan
-It's not a substitute for professional medical care
Instead, it’s a structured nervous system reset that teaches your body how to move better through slow, controlled, intentional exercises that reconnect your feet, knees, hips, and core. Each week focuses on a different region of the body and builds toward full-body integration, with clear video technique instruction and education on what each exercise is doing and why it matters for runners. You’ll also learn how to maintain these changes long-term. So this isn’t just a four-week program — it’s a foundation you can carry with you into every phase of training. If you want to start the season feeling smoother, more connected, and more confident in your body, this is where that work begins.
